This year, HALIBS will be holding a major campaign for Funds, Textbooks, and School Supplies- The campaign is entitled, The Connect. The Connect campaign will bridge the gap between students in the DMV Area and students in Sierra Leone and Gambia, by identifying a necessity for a global commitment to the advancement of learning.
During the campaign, HALIBS will collaborate with students, organizations, and companies in order to raise funds, books, and school supplies to send to schools in Africa including: Wisdom Nursery School, Brikama Methodist Academy, and others to be announced..
This Blog will act as the primary connecting point, where we will be able to share our campaign efforts and chart our progress- During the campaign, we will ask that all parties submit their stories, experiences, pictures, and letters to randi.inniss@gmail.com so that they can be reviewed and added to the Blog.
